I have arrived to Barcelona and it is the most beautiful place on Earth! I was immediately greeted by the beautiful Arc de Tiomf and some beautiful flags. It’s for real y’all–I’m in Spain!!! Barcelona, Spain! Today the weather is perfect. The people are so nice and the city itself is so darn happy! People are smiling everywhere. I am going to spend the next couple of days sightseeing on one of those hop on hop off buses that goes around the city to tour all of the attractions and all of the different architecture. If you didn’t know, Barcelona is famous for its architecture. Since I’ve been here which has only been a few hours so far, I have seen some very impressive buildings.

Hey guys, I’m back. I’ve gone through a majority of the city so far and I have to say that the designs and the uniqueness of these buildings here are just indescribable. It’s amazing and I’ve seen nothing like the buildings here anywhere else. The Sagrada Familia which is currently still under construction–which is not surprising, is massive and every where you look there is detail. Detail is in every pocket, every corner, every hole …just everywhere. I could fill up my camera roll taking pictures of this thing! It’s stunning.

I have no words here besides “don’t listen to what they say, go see!” I also went inside after waiting in line FOREVER, but it was worth the wait because even though its still under construction, it was even more jaw dropping. It didn’t even seem real. I feel like I was in a movie or something. Again, go see!

I also made my way to the impressive Park Guell. I felt like I was looking at Gingerbread houses. That’s sort of what the architecture looks like.

If Barcelona only had these two buildings, I’m sure millions of people would still  flock over here. The pictures don’t do justice.

My friends and I later went to eat and then my troubles started. Talk about knowing a little bit of Spanish. Ummmm, that didn’t quite help me. Not even a little bit because guess what–the Spanish in Spain is not like the Spanish in America. Regardless, I couldn’t understand either. In any case, I found it extremely difficult to order food or speak to the locals because of the language barrier. Thank God I had Judith who spoke Spanish and could comprehend their dialect a little bit. Aside from the communication issues I had, Barcelona was indeed an adventure. I saw so many things and I laughed every moment I could. I love you Barcelona.
