Today was the day I would finally see Zion! However, trying to get into Zion National Park was similar to the experience I had going to the Grand Canyon. Construction was going on near the sight so that delayed me for an hour just trying to get into the park—and this is during the holiday season. Good time to do construction boys…fantastic timing! But you learn to grow patience because you know once you get inside you will not be disappointed.

I turned into a child once I got inside the park. I was amazed, I was excited, I was so many things. I was at Zion National Park!! The mountains were like nothing I have EVER seen before. They were huge! I mean gigantic. I felt like such a small person. I was always looking up and realizing that I was also always looking towards heaven at the master who created all of this.

Zion National Park is humongous. You can’t walk all of it–well I don’t think you can. I drove through the park–I came on a tour with a small group of people. There are times where you can just drive around in different parts of the park and there are areas that allow you to pull over and take pictures. I have to tell you, getting out of the car and looking up at these mountains had me on a high all day. Views like this actually exist and it makes you wonder.

Along the way we also saw wild life like deers. They were beautiful. I wasn’t fast enough to capture them but it was awesome to see them in their natural habitat.

…look at these mountains though!

We came across another rest area and I couldn’t help but continue to take in the views. Unfortunately, my pictures don’t even show you the half.

We finally left Zion after a few hours to head to Bryce Canyon.
